The New Paleo Diet.

Do you think that the way north-american eat is totally wrong? Do you feel tired and don’t have any energy left after having a meal? If yes, dont worry, you are not alone. I used to be like that, eating pizza and cookies everyday and bond to drink huge amount of caffeine just to keep myself awake for the day. I didn’t understand why my energy level was so uneven. Here are my discoveries in eating habit over the past few years.

The Grocery Myth

First thing to clarify is the grocery. It is not because they sell it that you should eat it. Fake-food producer (let’s call it for what it is) spend millions of dollars in advertising each year to make you believe that eating Oreo will make you have a good time. If you never saw an ads and just read the ingredients, there is no way on earth you would eat it. Close your eyes and try to remember how many aisle of “fake-food” there is in your grocery.

Why No Fake-Food?

Why am i eating exclusively vegetable and meet? Because our body was never meant to eat refined sugar and process food fill with trans-fat. The human species has evolved over thousands of years and eating process food only started 100  years ago. Before that, what would people eat? Vegetable and meat! Lets put something clear, eating should not be an orgasmic experience. We are talking about feeding our body with the nutrient it needs to give us energy and health. If a good life for you is having an orgy of food at each meal, you are heading for a hearth transplant at age 50 very quickly.

What I Eat Now

My diet is very simple. Low carbs, high fat, meat and green veggies. It is dead simple to follow. You just go to the meat section and buy some meat, go in the vegetable section and buy all the vegetable you want (green preferably) go back home, cook your meat and mix with your veggies. Thats it. Here is a simple meal that I love to prepare. It has everything your body need and I eat it twice daily with a lot of water.

New Paleo Chicken Salad

  • 1 full lettuce, 2 tomato, 2 cucumbers
  • 1 green onion, half  a cook chicken
  • 2 ounce of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 ounce of olive oil, salt and pepper.

Thats  it! I mix it all together and eat one for lunch and one for dinner. In the morning I drink a protein shake and a bullet proof coffee. minimum 2 litres of water a day and I am vibrant of energy. (remark how I don’t even bother eating fruit in my diet)

It took me a while to figure out that 60% of my energy was coming from my food. Bill Clinton was on a vegetarian diet which was high in carbs and low in fat and meat and he switch to a high in meat and fat diet with low carbs. He says that since he switch is level of energy has never been that high. He wasn’t realizing how low is energy level was on the vegetarian diet until he switch to a high fat diet.

I tried a vegetarian diet a few years ago and I lost 10 pounds in a matter of 2 weeks. I wasnt fat when i started, far from it. I was just loosing muscle at an alarming rate. Story of people like me are everywhere on internet. I really dont think there is anything healty about a vegetarian diet. The human species is a scavenger and we are design to eat meats and vegetable.

I also now just added a glass of wine in the evening for its positive effect on the heart on life preserving property. Note that I do stray away from my diet every now and them. Im not a pope, but I know that my diet is clean at least 90% of the time.

So on your next trip to the grocery, don’t do the same mistake as usual. Skip all the aisle and go right to the vegetable and meat section. You’ll will thank me later.
