How to create your personal branded blog

Jon Chow is one of the first blogger ever. He grow is blog income from zero to $40 000 in two years! He has is blog for over 10 years now. He is the father of blogging.
Chris Ducker is another great example of a successful personal branded blog. He has a successful podcast and he has a thriving websites.

Build notoriety
Bulding a personal branded blog will build notoriety. Over the past few months, I have had 3 different online newspaper that wanted to interview me because I have a personal website. People get on my site, They read the blog, see my pictures and video and they feel like they know me already. I built a connection with them even tho we never spoke before. thats the magic of creating your own site and showcase yourself. I have had coaching clients getting in touch with me because of my online presence and i was able to charge 100$/hours. this would not be possible without my blog.

You own the platform
Sure you have facebook or twitter. but you dont own the platform. Look at what happen to myspace, people stop using it and it is the last thing someone will go have a look at. internet will never be shutdown and you will own your website as long as you want. you can update it and you control everything you put on it. There is no restricition and you control 100% of the image you project.

Still there tommorow
Everything you work on today will be there tommorow. If you write a blog post on a particular subject and rank it, it will drive traffic to your sites for years to come. If you start today, in 1 years, 2 years, por 3 years from now, you will have accumulated a massive amount of content that will drive traffic to your site. You will have 1000% more opportunity with this website live.

Why create a blog?

Everytime you write a post, you give more content to google so people can find your website more easily. the more you write, the more google will send you traffic. Doesn’t matter what you talk about, as long as you talk about it. You will be surprised to find how many people share the same interest as you. Building your business is only about finding enough people that share a common interest/problem.

Slowly build asset that you can use elsewhere.

Also, writting blog post is great because it is the foundation for your upcoming book. I havent wrote my book yet, but when you think of a successful person, they all have written a book. You will be able to simply pick content from your blog and use it in your book. Basically copy and past. New york time bestsellers, here i come!

Earn trust

Its an amazing way for people to earn trust in you. the more content you have on your site, the more someone can read on you and earn trust. If you’d walk by a TV celebrity on the street. you would probably look at them and smile. And if you had the opportunity you might want to say hi to them and tell them how much you like their last movie. But you never actually spoke to them before, you only watch them on TV but you feel like you know them. This is the magic about a personal branded website. People will feel like they know you already.
