Digital Access Pass (DAP) Website
For those of you who prefer to read, this is the written version:
The picture below is the home page of Digital Access Pass. This is what you see once you log in.
The first report that interest us is called: “Earning Summary By Product (per date range)” It gives you the summary of your earning for the current week. They break it down by product name, sales amount and sales refund.
Getting Started
Right under you can find the “Unique Members (all-time)” It gives you the number of active and inactive members that are currently part of your site.
The last report that interest us is the one called “Incoming Affiliate Traffic” This is were you would find the amount of people that your affiliates refer to your site. This is only if you decide to run your own affiliate program.
Creating a name
This is screen is the one you can find under Product/levels. It is were you set enter your product name and a short description. Also you want to specify your sales page URL. You dont need to put anything else. The error page URL is automatically created when you installed the plugin.
So unless you want to use your own post login page or you want to use the credit system available, then you can just click save and move over to the next tab called pricing.
Pricing your product
Under the pricing tab, you can set your product to free or paid. If you choose to have a paid product, you can select if it’s a recurring payment or a fix price.
If you go with a recurring then you can offer a trial period for a fraction of the price. In the example below, we put a trial of 15 days at 7$. After the 15 days trial, they get charge 27$ every month for a period of 36 month. Now that we have our product name we can go and create our membership content.
Protecting your content
To lock content with Digital Access Pass, just click on a page or post on the left that you want only your members to see and it will get added to the protected content on the right. You can specify any url, page, folder or forum that you want to be protected.
Payment Processor
Once your content is lock, you can now head over to the setup tab and Enter your payment processor information. In our example we use paypal.
Enter your Payapal Identity token and the email address associated with your paypal account. Everything else can be left just like it is. Now all you need to do is create a buy now button and you will be up and running.
Creating a buy button
To create a buy button just scroll right to the bottom and click on “generate button code” Everything else is already generated. Then you just copy and past your button code on any page you want it on. That simple! Now let’s have a look at a few more feature that Digital Access Pass Offer.
Product Chaining
One of the cool feature of Digital Access Pass is the product chaining. If you have more than one product, you can create rules and give access to multiple product at one time.
This come really handy if you have multiple levels of membership. The higher level would normally have access to all the lower level product. This is where you would set this up.
Manage Users
Next is the User management dashboard. From the top left area, you can quickly search for your customers by email, name, or username.
In the top right corner, this where you manage the access of your product by users. At the bottom, all your member are listed there. You can see the status of your users and which product they have access to.
Auto Responder
Another cool feature of DAP is the Auto-responder. You can create a serie of email that are sent when someone subscribe. You can create your own using the different tags or just use the template already made.
Affiliates module
Next, there’s an affiliate module built into DAP. If you want to have the the flexibility to run your own affiliate program in the future then you need Digital Access Pass.
To summerize
Digital Access Pass handle pretty much all the payment processor like : ClickBank, JVZoo, 1ShoppingCart, Google Checkout, 1ShoppingCart, CCBill.com, Stripe.com, Authorize.net and Paypal
I think that customer service should be #1 priority for any software developer and DAP nail that part too. Any time I needed something done they were always quick to answer with a solution.
If you’re looking for a solid membership plugin that is flexible and back by a team of great developer. DAP is what you are looking for.
