Email marketing is the most important part of any blog. It can drive hundreds or thousands of people back to your blog whenever you decide. Most importantly, it will make you sell more products.(But more on this later)
So I recently switch from Mailchimp to Aweber to convertkit and this is what I found out
Only for Bloggers
First, Convertkit focus solely on people like me….Blogger.
If you own an amazon business or a dropshiping website, Convertkit might not be the answer for you.
But for someone like me that uses wordpress, Convertkit really resolve my email marketing problems. All of the tools inside convertkit are design to help bloggers like me achieve their goals which are getting more traffic and selling more products.
10X Your Subscription Rate
The more subscriber you have, the more people you can promote your post or your product. Convertkit is amazing when it comes to increasing subscribers.
They give us top of the line landing page templates that you can use right out of the box. Just sign-in and start creating landing pages. You dont need to subscribe to a bunch of different services, it simply comes stock with convertkit.
You can also customize your incentives for different post and pages in exchange for their email addresses. Just upload the convertkit plugin and select the optin form that you want to show on your post. That was simple! Here is a simple opt-in form, you can customize them exactly how you want:
Easy to use Landing Page
I dont think that any other company offer landing pages… With convertkit, creating landing page is very easy. You can use the visual editor that let you create good looking landing page in just a few clicks. Design is pretty much #1 when it comes to winning the trust of your potential customer, Convertkit understand that much better than all the other companies. Sorry Aweber, we aren’t in the 90’s anymore.
Keep track of your buyers
With convertkit, you can segment your whole list into smaller list. Someone just purchase your product? No problem, Convertkit automatically take them off your non-buyer list and add them to your buyer list. Now you can upsell them or give them support and follow-ups.
Selling on Auto-Pilot
This is for me another big reason why I switch to convertkit. They offer templates for “courses”. A course is simply an email sequence or auto-responder that you put your customer through. Sometimes during this course, you will offer them to purchase your product or the product of an affilaite.
Convertkit helps you create those courses gracefully. They tell you when to build trust and teach your subscriber something useful. Then they tell you when to introduce your product, soft sell or hard sell them. Unless you are a veteran in email marketing, this really makes writing email easy.
Who shouldn’t get convertkit?
So as you can see, Convertkit is not for everyone. If you want an email marketing software that is outdated and let you create ugly form, you are better off with aweber or mailchimp. But if you use WordPress like me, have a blog and wants to create landing page and optin form like it’s 2016, then Convertkit is definitly for you.
